Enjoy life at a more natural pace.

Springwoods Village is a master planned, mixed use community located just south of The Woodlands and north of downtown Houston. It is a new model of sustainability and greener living for the Houston region, preserving its natural ecosystems, building energy smart new homes, and reducing dependence on the car by providing a walkable mix of retail, dining, offices, and public amenities.

Springwoods Village will encompass 1,800 acres unfolding carefully and methodically to balance nature, urbanism and diversity. The existing forest and Spring Creek ecosystems will be protected and preserved utilizing best practices in sustainable design and infrastructure. Springwoods Village will be user friendly, earth friendly, connected and current.

The Springwoods Village property was purchased in the 1960’s. Development was launched in 2010 when ExxonMobil announced it was consolidating its Houston and Virginia offices to land within Springwoods Village. The ExxonMobil campus is being completed and will bring with it approximately 10,000 jobs. In addition, Southwestern Energy’s corporate headquarters and 1,500 employees will call Springwoods Village home at the end 2014.

Springwoods Village will offer a range of homes, from luxury rentals and urban-style compact housing, to single-family dwellings with yards. This walkable community will also be home to workplaces, shopping, dining, parks and other natural gathering places. It's about creating a community with smart, sustainable elements.

As the Springwoods Village community continues to grow, land will be donated to provide essential community services. Schools, civic and recreation facilities, libraries, and emergency services will be integrated in a timely manner.

As Houston has grown and the metropolitan area becomes more linked, the time is right to embrace a thoughtful blend of nature, community and commerce. The community will bring new texture, vitality, and inspiration to north Harris County.
